| How to Become a Resident |

George Derby Centre admits and provides care and services to 300 residents who are Canadian Veterans of the Armed Forces and require some level of nursing care because of age or disability. To be considered for placement to George Derby Centre, applicants must have a designated intermediate care level, as determined by the Long Term Care Program, and be eligible according to Veterans Affairs Canada. Clients applying for admission from outside the Province of British Columbia must be eligible in accordance with Veterans Affairs Canada and require a level of care congruent with Provincial Long Term Care Standards. |
